Mihai Sârbulescu is a Romanian painter and co-founder of the Prolog Group, together with Paul Gherasim, Constantin Flondor, Christian Paraschiv, and Horea Paștina. During his formative years, Sârbulescu studied painting with Virgil Neagu and Liviu Lăzărescu, and later graduated from the Nicolae Grigorescu Art Institute in 1981. Sârbulescu’s paintings explore rural architecture, floral compositions and liturgical objects, drawing inspiration from the Balchik School of Painting and from expressionist aesthetics. His work has been presented in both solo and group exhibitions across Germany, the United States, Hungary and Romania, as well as in Italy, Romania and Cyprus with the Prolog Group.
