Educated at the George Enescu Academy of Art in Iași, where he studied under Dimitrie Gavrilean, Felix Aftene developed a visual language that bridges traditional imagery and contemporary sensibilities. His practice spans painting, drawing and mixed media, defined by dynamic compositions and a vigorous interplay of colour and texture. Collaborating with galleries in Austria, Germany, France, Moldova and Switzerland, Aftene has established an international presence, with works held in museums and private collections both in Romania and abroad.
