Additional info:
Horia Popp is a Romanian abstract painter. In Popp’s paintings, subtle plays of light and muted colour palettes are used to carefully craft the artist’s intriguing universe, where strong emotional intensities collide with the sharp edges of modern existence. His works often depict fragments of interiors alongside deconstructed human figures, paradoxically giving away a sense of warmness and empathy for the fragility of the human habitus. Popp’s works have been exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions across Romania.
