Ioana Băltan is a Romanian painter who lives and works in London. She studied Painting at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, completing both her bachelor degree in 2015 and her master degree in 2017, alongside a degree in Art Pedagogy. During her postgraduate studies, she furthered her training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan in 2017. Băltan’s work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, in venues such as the Royal Academy of Arts in London, Koppel X Space, Spazio San Vidal at the Biennale Viterbo - Venice, and Art Safari Bucharest. Her artistic practice combines academic discipline with a contemporary sensibility, positioning her within a generation of young Romanian artists who pursue their careers on an international stage.
