Liviu Suhar is a visual artist who studied Painting in Cluj. His works are part of important museum and private collections across Romania. In 1984, Suhar was part of the Painting Biennial in Kosice, Czechoslovakia, where he won the Silver Medal. He received numerous national prizes throughout his career. Suhar’s practice is heavily influenced by Modernism, constructing a particular grammar where everyday objects are introduced in aestheticized, sometimes unusual sceneries.
