Additional info:
Miruna Radovici is an emerging visual artist from Romania. She works across media such as painting, drawing, textile, ceramics, and installation, and holds an MA from the National University of the Arts, Bucharest. Themes of companionship and duality permeate the artist’s work in tender and vulnerable tableaus, where estrangement unexpectedly becomes a strategy of coming-together. In her paintings, hybrid characters defy common morphology through alien postures, uncanny corporealities, and unusual ways of relating. Radovici’s mixed media practice further constructs layers that give rise to intimate and strange ecologies, as the bidimensional canvas is often expanded through ceramic and found objects. Different environments contaminate each other in narratives that feel especially private and touching. Radovici has had solo exhibitions with Galeria Posibilă, Bucharest, and has shown drawings and a performance piece at the 'Semaine Folle', Institut Supérieur Des Beaux Arts in Besançon, France. Fair participation includes RAD Bucharest 2024 with Galeria Posibilă and most recently Liste Art Fair Basel 2025 with Suprainfinit.
