Additional info:
Paul Gherasim was a Romanian artist who graduated from the National University of Arts in Bucharest, guided by renowned painter and professor Jean Alexandru Steriade. Alongside artists such as Horea Paștină, Mihai Sârbulescu, Cristian Paraschiv, and Constantin Flondor, Gherasim co-founded the Prolog Group. In his compositions, Gherasim’s main interest was to find an ideal representation of spiritual transcendence and redemption. His works portray natural landscapes, iconography-inspired scenes, and at times abstractions of liturgical elements. Logos references Orthodox symbolism and typography, like a cautionary tale on the weightfulness of the word. Gerasim’s works have been exhibited in countries such as Italy, Hungary, and Romania, in both solo and group shows.
