Description
Predrag Peđa Nešković is a Belgrade based artist, born in Bijela, Montenegro in 1938. He graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts Belgrade.
His most notable exhibitions include: the Venice Biennial, MoCA Belgrade, MoCA Skopje, MoMA Rijeka, MoMA Ljubljana, MoMA Dubrovnik, Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, Hirshhorn Museum Washington, Brooklyn Museum New York, Art Pavilion Cvijeta Zuzorić Belgrade, Künstlerhaus Graz, Salzburger Verein and Museum des 20. Jahrhunderts Vienna.
He is a master of pulp and kitsch, and considered a leading representative of CEE pop-art in the 1970s, whereas his recent works are gorgeous deconstructivist installations.
Exhibitions
The work was exhibited at the group exhibition "Painting in Serbia of the Eighth and Ninth Decades", 1995 and was reproduced in the catalog of the same name under serial number 19.
