Additional info:
Radu Pulbere is a Romanian contemporary artist who graduated from the University of Art and Design in Cluj. His works have been presented in solo and group shows in countries such as Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Poland and Romania. Pulbere's main interest lies in the concept of identity and questioning the state of confusion brought about by the daily struggles of postmodern society. In Pulbere’s artistic approach, a continuous existential inquiry becomes the central tool to coherently explore diverse subject matters. Hence, Pulbere’s image exploration turns into a lucid interrogation in which elements such as colour and used signs become the main means of addressing reflexive questions in relation to the medium of painting. Currently, Radu Pulbere teaches at the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
