Description
Saša Pančić is a Belgrade based artist, born in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1965. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Belgrade.
Pančić ‘s works in public and private collections include: Museum of Contemporary Art Niš, Wienere Collection in Belgrade, Luciano Benetton Collection Italy, Telenor Collection Belgrade, Hall of Belgrade Drama Theatre, National Museum of Serbia Kraljevo, Zepter Museum Belgrade, Macura Collection Banovci, Zuccato Collection Poreč, New Moment Collection Belgrade, Arte Collection Belgrade, Thalberg Collection Zurich, Lamusee Collection Tokyo. His works in public space are in Šumatovačka Art School Park in Belgrade and in Sculpture Park Kakslauttanen in Lapland.
Pančić is recognised as an established CEE artist working at the intersection of sculpture and drawing. In his constant research, the ontological character of his artistic practice offers a multitude of interpretations of reality with spiritual narratives.
