Teodor Cuza’s painting Winter Landscape demonstrates a restrained yet highly refined sensibility for atmospheric transitions and tonal structure. Executed in oil on cardboard, the work captures the muted chromatic register of a frozen rural scene, where light is diffused across a compact, almost tactile surface.
