Additional info:
Traian Brădean was a Romanian visual artist who worked in painting and drawing, and a professor at the National Arts University in Bucharest. Brădean’s painting and drawing styles contaminate one another, achieving an authenticity of representation all throughout his still lives, landscapes, portraits and daily life scenes. A vast knowledge of art history is reconstructed onto the canvas through simple and careful lines, in predominantly cold colours. Brădean’s works were shown in exhibitions in cities such as Prague, Bucharest, Sofia, Leipzig or Lisbon. His works are part of public and private collections in many countries, including the US, Switzerland, Belgium, Canada, the Netherlands, and Egypt.
