Description
Vladlen Babcinetchi is a romanian artist specialized in monumental sculpture. Educated in Iași at the Octav Băncilă College of Arts and the George Enescu National University of Arts, he continued his academic development through doctoral research at the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University, complemented by international research and fellowships in Latvia and Georgia.
Babcinetchi is a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Moldova and the Union of Artists of Romania. His work has been exhibited internationally, including in Lisbon, and his public works are present in locations across the world, including Bethlehem, Jerusalem, and Moscow, as well as in private collections in London, Bangkok, Bucharest, Stuttgart, Innsbruck and others.
Recognized for his expressive strength, symbolic depth, and commanding compositional language, Vladlen Babcinetchi has established a distinctive presence in contemporary sculpture through a practice that unites technical mastery, artistic sensitivity, and monumental vision.
