Description
A substantial pair of candlesticks of sculptural character, enriched with marine motifs and fleur-de-lis elements. The bodies are articulated through cast and chased decoration, combining stylised aquatic forms with heraldic accents. The partial gilding enhances selected details, creating contrast and depth across the surface.
The design reflects mid-20th-century Italian production, where historicist references are reinterpreted through a decorative, often theatrical vocabulary, characteristic of Florentine silversmithing traditions.
