Description
A circular commemorative dish with a rounded base and a profiled, gilt rim. The centre is set with a modern coin reproducing an original issue from 1830, associated with the Swiss Restoration period (1815–1830), when the Confederation returned to a federal structure following the Helvetic Republic.
The piece is executed in cast silver, with a restrained Art Deco approach that frames the historical reference of the coin within a clear and balanced composition. The association with the Jezler workshop, founded in 1822, reinforces the continuity between medallic tradition and early 20th-century silver production. The dish was likely created to mark the centenary of the 1830 events.
