Description
A circular plate or bottle coaster with a broad, undulating rim, executed in hammered silver. The border is decorated with floral motifs set against a punched ground, while the central field is left plain, creating a clear contrast between ornament and reserve.
The combination of hammered texture and applied decoration reflects early 20th-century Italian silver production, where traditional techniques are used to articulate both surface and form.
