Materials: powder-coated steel, rattan
Condition: very good; rattan seating shows some light signs of wear along the edges, no holes or breaks in the thread. Steel frames are in good shape, some patina visible consisting of chipped paint and signs of oxidation. Solid construction, no loose parts
Dimensions for the chair: width: 65 cm; height 79 cm; depth: 50 cm; seat width: 44 cm; seat height: 42 cm; armrest rise: 63.5 cm
Dimensions for the ottoman: width: 48.5 cm; height 42 cm; depth: 36 cm.

The chair was designed for the Italian restaurant ''The Basket'' in 1951. The design then received the 'Good Design Award' in 1953 from the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
